Each member of the Wild Heart herd has much to teach us about heart connections and living life in the present moment. Through their own traumas and willingness to forgive humans, each horse has something to share. The horses resonate with those who visit the sanctuary on many levels. We are not open to the public on a daily basis, but do offer a variety of experiences where you can tap into the wisdom of the wild ones. See below to learn how to schedule and prepare for a visit to the sanctuary.

Let's Get Artsy & Wildly Creative

Celebrate your 'Creative & Wild Nature' inspired by the Majestic Mustangs at Wild Heart Sanctuary. Each guest will paint their own unique mustang masterpiece and engage with the Wild Ones. All artistic abilities are invited, welcomed, and encouraged. Let nature, the creative spirit, and the collective energy of the Wild Horses entice the artist in YOU. It will be an evening of getting out of our heads, into our hearts, and

creating without rules.

No art experience needed, just come and enjoy! Feel free to bring your beverage of choice.

We will supply everything else.

All art supplies are included in the price—
$75 tribute for the entire creative experience.

Horse Journey Yoga

During the summer, Wild Heart Sanctuary hosts several yoga classes with some of Park City's favorite yoga teachers. Sign up for our Horse Journey Yoga Email List to get dates, times, instructors and RSVP details.

Experience the heart connections of the Wild Heart herd up close! The horses energetically communicate through the earth and love to make connections with our yoga tribe. If possible, use a blanket for our classes to get the full earthing &  heart experience. When traditional mats disturb her work, Noble Moon has been known to rip the rubber mats out from under people, wanting you to be able to earth and ground with Mother Earth (rubber blocks that)

Retreats

From time to time, Wild Heart Sanctuary hosts workshops for small groups interested in engaging with the Wild Heart herd and various spiritual guides. Past retreats have included full moon gatherings, one-day horse heart connections, shaman encounters and more.

We are offering one or two retreats later this summer that you won't want to miss! We are currently working out the dates and details. The groups are small so sign up for our newsletter in the form below to receive workshop and registration details.

For a private equine experience session with Sonya and the horses, please inquire about the rate using the Event and Experiences Updates box below.

Holistic Equine Care

Wild Heart Sanctuary founder Sonya Richins is a certified and highly experienced holistic equine care provider and teacher. The Wild Heart herd is cared for with many organic practices.

In the near future, a holistic equine care course will be offered, including topics such as working with essential oils, heart vibrations, and meridians and chakras.

If you own or care for horses, this is a course that will give you in-depth knowledge of holistic equine practices.   Sign up below in events or experiences updates if you are interested in being part of her next class

Scheduling a Visit to Wild Heart Sanctuary

We occasionally welcome guests who want to see the eight wild Mustangs who were rescued and are now living a peaceful and safe life at Wild Heart Sanctuary. Offering sanctuary as well as being advocates for the wild horses in captivity and those still allowed to run wild is our primary mission.

We reserve time first for donations for sessions and events throughout the month for those who seek to connect to the heart wisdom of the Wild Heart Infinity herd. We allow only a few additional guests to visit each month due to our limited resources and the energy it takes for the horses to interact with people.

Visit our pre-visit  page for details before making a visit request.

Directions will be provided once a visit is scheduled. Please park in front of the barn (to the right of the house) and wait for Sonya to meet you. Do not enter the barn alone. Although in sanctuary, these are still wild animals.

Preparing for Your Visit with the Wild Heart Infinity Herd

Please prepare for your experience by reviewing and signing our Release Form.

Make sure to wear close-toed shoes and bring water. Be sure to drink plenty of water after your visit, too. Leave your cell phone in your car. Horses are sensitive to cellular activity and it may decrease their willingness to approach. Food is also prohibited around the horses.

Then, experience the grace, beauty and heart wisdom of the Wild Heart Infinity herd. You'll learn their stories, hear about the plight of the wild horses currently in held captivity in deplorable conditions, and learn what you can do to help protect the remaining horses in the wild.
